I hate Bill Mahr. Mostly because he makes atheists look like giant douche bags. I did enjoy his segment with Milo though. Bill didn't make a lot of the stupid accusations that the left generally does against Milo like him being a white supremist.
Seeing that talentless hack Larry Wilmore lose his poop was fun. He was the least funny guy on the Daily show. No surprise that his own show failed. |

The reason we want politics off this site and anything hockey related, is because we want to get away from the political crap for a change. You really think we need more of it to "make us think"? Give me a break. Politics are everywhere and on television 24/7 it seems. The last thing we need is more of it here with hockey where it's supposed to be an escape from the BS of life. Yes you hate trump, wow how far from the norm you are. Its not like 90 percent of the world does and it's the current fad of today. Put a cork in it and get back to analytics please. |

James- why all the hate for Ottawa? Definitely not a contender, and Boucher plays a big part of them winning, but man you are talking like they are icing an AHL team! Boring wins hockey games. Ask your boy Tippett.
Don't be butthurt that a certain Southern US team can't put it together... |

Anything the Sens accomplish is pure luck. Zero talent and a guaranteed lottery team. The massive reduction in GF and a top 5 PK are meaningless stats. The Leafs lost last night because of the refs not due to the fact fhat Jake Gardiner can't defend to save his life.

If the biased left wing media would practice what you are saying, we would not be a divided nation. But most of the media is so biased it makes me sick. I hope Trump punishes them forever because they are fake, idiots, morons, sick thinking, violent and I could go on and on and on. But I will leave it at that. If Obama would have been criticized like Trump the media would have had a fit. - holeinone

Crosby is way better than Gretzky, bt then again most NHL players today are way better than Gretzky. |

Idc what you think, I tune in every game happy that Stone and Karlsson are on our roster. Still playing more fun hockey than the 'hockey gods' of LA, and around 10 other teams. |

Always fun to read your plus minus column. Keep up the great work.
Boucher coaching in Montreal in 4 years is my prediction based on squat. I always thought Guy was a solid coach in Tampa and he has done a good job in Ottawa. The players will grow tired of his system and eventually he will be replaced when the team has a poor season.
I expect you are from a pro-union, socialist household as a kid if Peter Worthington and the Sun couldn't persuade you of the superiority of merit based political values. The Sun was the Sunday paper to buy for sports and stereo ads.
Enjoy your nice weather.

Gretzky and Lemieux were both a much than their contempraries for large parts of their careers. Crosby has been overshadowed by a number of players on any given year. Crosby is a great player by in my opinion falls into the next tier of Star player along with Yzerman, Sakic, Messier, Bossy, Trottier, Ovechkin etc..
There have only ever been a small number of Generational or Superstar players, the guys who dominated their peers over a number of years. Not to go back too far, but some of the Superstars in the NHL were Rocket Richard, Gordie Howe, Orr, Gretzky and Lemieux, McDavid appears he may be in that mold but we won't know for another 8 to 10 years. |

Did you see the Pyatt and Turris penalties in the first and second periods? Talk about wanting the Laughs to get back in the game...the irony of it is I think Gardiner misses Dion... |

Technology is evolving faster than humans, and if Trump can't shake people from their total consumption mindset, that which includes sitting on the couch and watching hockey for 3 hours several times a year. Then what will the meaning of "being human" be for future generations? Will they be born and given body modifications so computers can think/feel/work for them? Look, google will be pushing driverless cars on us within the next decade. Goodbye driver's licenses, hello microchip in my arm? Will the few elites of the world need 99% of mankind in the future? Maybe that's why the youth of today, eating their chemical-filled food, think that they're transgendered and it's cool not to pass your genes on with a family of your own. Give the children anxiety/anti-depressants, then give them free handouts and break their will to be productive servants of society.

so you are saying mcdavid might be a generational talent but sid is not? the same mcdavid that is just leading the league with 3 points over second place and the second place player has played 8 games less... ye real generational. |

Players have a right to appeal suspensions, it's part of the CBA. Dennis Wideman appealed his, as did Carcillo. Carcillo's was reduced. Idk wyt you write stuff like this, bruh. - tomburton99
I can't believe you just used the word "bruh" while criticizing anyone about anything. |
